Alan, what made you choose commercial real estate brokerage as a career path?
Commercial real estate chose me! While speaking to a friend and fellow real estate associate as well as Tyler Saldutti, (our founder here at Prime Realty), I realized the CRE business had all of the business challenges that I enjoy and not required to be out of town 6 days a week. Client representation and satisfaction have always been fundamental in my career world. Prime Realty has those same core values. It was an easy choice for me.
How does your previous career help you serve your CRE brokerage customer?
Business consultants serve as professional advisors to help companies achieve their goals. As a CRE professional, I am able to utilize much of the work I performed as Sr. Business Consultant to assist clients in their real estate business needs. Our clients are very good at their profession. My goal is to make sure that they continue to focus on the success of their business all the while they have the “peace of mind” that their real estate needs are being handled in their best interests.
What is your goal when helping a customer lease or buy commercial property?
My goal is to earn the client's confidence and become the client's “trusted commercial real estate advisor”. I apply the same techniques of consulting discovery by listening to the client’s needs and wants for now and the future. To not just tell them when you can provide value but by showing the client measurable results. Prove to them they can get a greater return on their investment through my efforts and Prime’s resources and relationships. By being accessible and proving how important they are to myself and Prime Realty. To be their CRE professional now, in the future and to any referrals they may provide.
