Clark said that in the six years since Prime Realty began representing building owners on the retail strip, the rents have risen from about $16 per square foot to $30. For a corner property such as at the intersection of Park and Lomax streets, the going rate is in the low-to-mid $40 range, he said.
“I think what tells you a lot about this Riverside-Five Points area is we’re getting businesses that are successful in the Miamis, the Tampas, and the Atlantas of the world,” Clark said. “This little borough is where they want to establish their brand in Jacksonville.”
