Mario Butler Trades Cleats for Contracts at Prime Realty

Jacksonville, Florida-based brokerage firm Prime Realty hires former NFL player, hometown football star and philanthropist, Mario Butler. Tackling a career change from football to commercial real estate, Butler joined Prime Realty’s team in August of 2018 as an Associate Director.Mario Butler plans to specialize in representing high net-worth investors, developers, and private equity funds in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate in the Florida and Georgia markets. “I am excited that I have the opportunity to join Prime Realty’s team,” states Mario Butler. “Back in 2015, I was fortunate enough to intern at Prime Realty and ever since then I knew it would be the place I would start my commercial real estate journey.” Butler plans to deliver out of the box solutions, increase returns, and exceed the expectations of his clients, putting Mario in a class by himself.

Before joining Prime, Mario had the unique opportunity to play six years of professional football for the Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, and Buffalo Bills. His time in the National Football League established characteristics such as discipline, problem solving and attention to detail that will serve him well in the commercial real estate industry.Born and raised in Jacksonville, Mario Butler has been investing in the community for years.  As founder of The Mario Butler Foundation, Mario and his wife help provide children of underserved areas with resources and opportunities that aren’t accessible to them in their communities.
